Keyboard Malfunction

Description
Your Keyboard keys may not work or Some keyboard keys (not function keys) do not perform the desired action when pressed.
Solution
- Check for Windows updates.
1. Right-click the Windows icon.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select Update & Security.
4. If you see the Updates are available status, click Install now. Click on the updates you’d like installed, and then select Install.
Reboot your laptop and check if the audio is working. If the status shows You’re up to date, try the next solution.
- Please try running the troubleshooter.
1. Right-click the Windows icon.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select Update & Security.
4. Select Troubleshoot. Select Keyboard to fix problems with keyboard settings.
- Next, you can try updating the keyboard driver to solve your issue.
1. Go to Start.
2. Type "Device Manager" and hit enter.
3. Right-click on your keyboard driver and select update driver.
4. Click on "Search automatically for updated driver software" to ensure that you have the latest driver.
- If the update driver did not work, you can try to uninstall your keyboard driver and scan for hardware changes.
1. Search for and select Device Manager.
2. Expand the keyboards section and find the driver.
3. Right-click the driver.
4. Select Uninstall device.
5. Reboot (power off and power on the machine), and let Windows install the driver.
6. If this does not work, try updating drivers.

4. A copy of the proof of purchase/receipt. (Name of the Store/Date of purchase with year/ Brand name or Product description).
5. A close-up photo of the manufacturer's label on the unit showing a clear view of the Gateway nameplate with the serial and model number of the device.
6. A few pictures of the issue.
